"Sissy" is a 25 yr old blind appaloosa mare. She was found wandering along a highway and turned over to the Livestock Identification Service. After no owner was located, they asked me to take her.
She is quite the character; feisty, cuddly when she wants to be, the first to start yelling for her feed in the morning. She's just a great mare to have around. I caught her having a nap in the sunshine for this photo.

ah great to see she has found a good home, funny you say fiesty our little blind rescue kitty is the same , the only way to describe her is as a pistol who has all the personality in the world to make up for her blindness
